Sundays in Lent – Lenten Reflection on Climate Action

11:15am in Edwards Hall; Series facilitated by Eugene Loh

Lent is typically associated with sacrifice, self deprivation, and repentance — that is, arguably, with negatives.  Yet in the liturgical year, it is the precursor to Easter, to joy.  This Lent, on Sundays after worship, we will reflect on Lenten themes; talk about their connection to positives such as joy, meaning, and identity; and explore connections to action on what is perhaps the most epic challenge facing humanity today:  climate change.

Wednesdays in Lent, 2/21 – 3/20 (5 weeks)

6:30 – 8 pm Soup Supper and discussion of the Baptismal Covenant promises

To RSVP and/or sign up to bring soup or bread, click on the date(s) below.

    • 2/28 – Will you persevere in resisting evil, and whenever you fall into sin, repent and return to the Lord?
    • 3/6 – Will you proclaim by word and example the Good News of God in Christ?
    • 3/13 – Will you seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself?
