Join us as we celebrate with PG the Good Old Days.
St. Mary’s Celtic music group will provide lively music for your enjoyment and there will be snacks such as root beer floats and fresh baked cookies. We will offer giftables for sale such as live plants, handmade ceramic pots and handmade items by our Prayer Shawl Ministry group. We will also have a sale of donated small collectibles such as jewelry, china, and glassware, and the Friends of the PG Library will be having their monthly book sale. Lots of ideas for gifts for Mom on Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 8th).
Our very talented textile artists will provide demonstrations of spinning and weaving their yarn. Short guided tours will be provided of our historic church. We will have an imagination station where you will be invited to write down or draw your thoughts about what the Good Old Days will look like in a hundred years.
In preparation for offering church tours, there will be an information session after the church service on Sunday, May 1st. This is not limited to those interested in being a church docent, so everyone interested in the history of St. Mary’s is welcome.
If you are interested in volunteering to set up, clean up or be a host during the Good Old Days event, please contact Donna Daunt at 1donna@daunt.com. It will be a fun day of community building and fellowship. Come join us!
