Nursery and Childcare

Sundays for Kids

Children of all ages are always welcome in worship, but St. Mary’s also offers a separate safe and nurturing space for kids in a bright classroom in Clay Hall during the 10:00 service.

Ages 1-4 – Our Toddler Room teacher, Melissa Rubio, has an Associate’s Degree from Monterey Peninsula College and several years’ experience working with young children. Melissa cares for our youngest parishioners from 9:45-11:30 a.m. every Sunday (with the exception of Easter  Sunday and Parish Camp weekend.) They can play with things like Play-Doh, puzzles and picture books. A small snack is provided and children with food sensitivities can be accommodated.

Ages 5-9 – Through May 2020, Melissa is joined by parishioner Eugene Loh who joins these older kids in fun and learning about loving God and loving our neighbors. They will join their families in church for communion.
