Join us December 2, 9, and 16 at 7 pm for a discussion of Love Is the Way: Holding on to Hope in Troubling Times, by Presiding Bishop Michael Curry, followed by a brief service of Compline (night prayers).
In his introduction, Bishop Curry says, “love—unselfish, sacrificial, unconditional, and liberating love—is the way, frankly the only way, to realize God’s dream of the beloved community, on earth as it is in heaven. It’s the only thing that can, and that ever will, make the world a better place.” What better way to wait, in the season of Advent, than by exploring how the transformative power of God’s love can be at work in our lives, and in our world, today?
Make plans now to participate, get a copy of the book, and begin reading. It is available in both hard copy and as an e-book. We will be gathering by Zoom, and all are welcome.
