Worship

8:00 am Holy Eucharist, Rite I – This is a spoken service with readings from scripture, a sermon, prayers, and communion. Rite I reflects the language and piety of the Elizabethan era.

10:00 am Holy Eucharist, Rite II, with music – This service includes lively congregational hymn singing as well as choral music. Rite II uses contemporary language.

Kids are always welcome in worship! There is a Toddler room available in Clay Hall (the building just south of the church) from 9:45 – 11:30 a.m., for parents who prefer to worship without their little ones. We have a basket of activities for kids in the back of the church so they can do worksheets, color, or other quiet things as they listen and participate during the service. We find if families sit closer to the front, kids can see more of what’s going on and feel more engaged.
