Annual Meeting on February 1st

Please join us for St. Mary's Annual Meeting after the 10am service on Sunday, February 1st in Edwards Hall. We will present a draft of the 2026 budget and elect new members of the vestry and delegates to the convention. In-person attendance is encouraged; however, if you are not able to be present, you may participate via Zoom.

An adult communicant shall be at least sixteen years of age.”

The following materials will be posted for your review. A few hard copies will be available at the meeting for those without electronic access.

Nominees for delegates to the diocesan convention include:
Jackie Frey, Ellen Jahn, Stephanie Pastor, Norah Schramm, Elizabeth McCorkle (alternate).

Nominees for the Vestry are Jackie Pierce and Kathy Stoner. Read about them below.

Jackie Pierce

Jackie, a retired lawyer, has been a member of this church since the 1980s.  She and husband, Mike Masuda, got married at St. Mary’s in 1988.  She has served on vestry, finance committee and has been stewardship co-chair and senior warden.  She participated in two searches as a vestry member.  Jackie is best known for her involvement in our music programs, especially the Celtic Music Ministry where she serves as jam and concert host. She is currently completing the final year of her fourth year term on the Standing Committee for the Diocese. Her husband Mike is part of the CSC team.

Kathy Stoner

I moved to Pacific Grove with my law partner, life partner and now spouse, Mickey Welsh, in 1979. We came to St Mary’s for a Christmas service in 1987 and immediately felt welcomed and at home. Mickey and I are both retired. We sing in the choir, and play music with the celtic music ministry, and we recently began volunteering with CSC. I served on the vestry for one term a number of years ago, and I have been on the investment committee for many years. Since 2024 I have been the St Mary’s treasurer.
