Action Alert: Tell the Senate to Oppose Drastic Cuts to Vital Programs

The Episcopal Public Policy Network distributed this Action Alert this week:

This week, the Senate is looking to vote on its version of H.R.1, also known as the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.” This bill would: 

• Make significant cuts to Medicaid.

• Add barriers to access food assistance.

• End environmental programs and increase carbon emissions.

• Expand detention centers for migrants.

• Add to the national debt.

Please contact your senators to oppose these harmful cuts to vital programs.
